A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to join a Globally known manufacturer in the Swindon Area!

With no day ever being the same the Maintenance Engineer role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class organisation.

Role & Responsibilities:
  • Conduct planned and reactive maintenance on production and facility equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues using root cause analysis and lean tools.
  • Support continuous improvement projects and equipment upgrades.
  • Maintain GMP-compliant documentation and follow change control procedures.
  • Collaborate with teams and coordinate contractor activities, including permits and orders.
  • Work within cleanroom environments, adhering to safety and quality standards.
  • Provide technical training and support to colleagues; cover team roles when needed.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
  • Recognised qualification in mechanical, electrical, or automation engineering.
  • Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or high-tech environment.
  • Proficient in diagnosing faults and implementing effective solutions.
  • Knowledge of GMP standards and clean room protocols.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
  • Strong organisational, documentation, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
