Responsibilities

  • Completing nightly engineering checks (fire-watch, guard checks, machine checks, emergency stops).
  • Performing PPMs on systems and machines (conveyors, crushers, optical sorters, motors).
  • Responding to breakdowns and completing work orders/requests.
  • Reporting defects and identifying process improvements to reduce downtime.
  • Supporting operational efficiency and plant reliability.

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to support operations through effective maintenance and engineering solutions. Your role will focus on ensuring the smooth running of machinery, reducing downtime, and contributing to a safe and efficient working environment.

Salary & Hours
  • £17.19 per hour
  • 10-hour night shifts, 5 nights a week Monday to Friday
  • Shift pattern: 20:00 - 06:00 or 21:00 - 07:00 (1 hour unpaid break)
