Job description

Overview

Our client is a market leader within the Metals Manufacturing industry. They are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team due to increased workload. The role is shop floor based, carrying out scheduled maintenance and dealing with day-to-day breakdowns and emergencies as they occur.

Responsibilities

• Performing planned maintenance, fixing faults and responding to emergency breakdowns within and outside basic working hours
• Organising and working with subcontractors
• Creation of permit to works and carrying out contractor inductions
• Ensuring repairs are carried out in a timely manner with minimal disruption to production
• Making sure that Health & Safety policy is followed at all times

Working Arrangements

Position is days only Monday to Friday - hours and times to be confirmed
