Responsibilities

• Deliver both planned and reactive maintenance activities.
• Diagnose faults and perform breakdown repairs on equipment.
• Develop and deliver planned maintenance and maintenance requests.
• Ensure adherence to statutory checks and GMP.
• Carry out risk assessments for non-routine tasks.
• Participate in continuous improvement and capital projects.
• Participate in production reviews and shift handovers.

This hands‑on role is vital in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of all production equipment and site utilities within our fast‑paced FMCG environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver both planned and reactive maintenance activities to minimise downtime and ensure production continuity.
• Diagnose faults and perform breakdown repairs on plant and service equipment using problem‑solving techniques to ensure long‑term solutions.
• Develop and deliver planned maintenance and maintenance requests.
• Ensure adherence to statutory checks and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
• Carry out risk assessments for non‑routine tasks and operate under permit‑to‑work systems.
• Participate in continuous improvement and capital projects.
• Participate in production cell reviews, engineering meetings, and shift handovers.

Experience and Qualifications Required:

• Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship (Electrical, Mechanical or Multi‑Skilled).
• Strong knowledge/experience of PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley).
