Overview

Are you a Maintenance Engineer who wants to work a 12hr shift pattern for a base salary of £55473 per annum - following assessment this increase to £62877 per annum? Do you want to work in a role where overtime is available with the scope to earn £70000 and upwards? If so, then please read on.

Role details

  • Job Title: Maintenance Engineer (Both mechanical and electrical considered)
  • Location: Port Talbot
  • Industry: Manufacturing
  • Pay: Starting at £55473 per annum and rising to £62877 (following assessment) + OT
  • Overtime: 1.5x Mon-Fri and double on Sundays
  • Shift: 6:30-6:30, 42hr week
  • Rotating pattern: Week 1 – Mon & Tue (Days), Wed & Thu (Off), Fri–Sun (Nights); Week 2 – Mon & Tue (Off), Wed & Thu (Days), Fri–Sun (Off); Week 3 – Mon & Tue (Nights), Wed & Thu (Off), Fri–Sun (Days); Week 4 – Mon & Tue (Off), Wed & Thu (Nights), Fri–Sun (Off); rotates back to Week 1
  • Holidays: 20 days increasing every year up to 25 days
  • Benefits: 6% pension / Life Assurance (3x annual salary) / Discount on products

Overview

With manufacturing facilities located across the globe you will be working in an automated production environment that will involve projects, installations along with planned and reactive maintenance.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain, service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production downtime
  • Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns
  • Preventive and Planned Maintenance (PPMs)
Qualifications
  • Time served apprenticeship
  • Strong maintenance background, working within automated manufacturing/production environment or similar
  • Educated in a relevant engineering discipline - City and Guilds/NVQ level 3/HNC/HND etc
