Pioneer Selection Ltd in Pontypool is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site. You will perform electrical and mechanical maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and support continuous improvement efforts across site machinery.

The role requires hands-on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast-paced industrial factory environment, and an engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical).

MULTI-SKILLED MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

Job Title: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: Pontypool

Salary: £50,000 - £51,000

Shift: 4 on 4 off Days and Nights

Job Role of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

A superb opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a supportive and collaborative engineering team within a busy manufacturing site. The company prides itself on a positive working culture where teamwork and mutual respect are at the centre of daily operations.

You will be responsible for both electrical and mechanical maintenance, responding to breakdowns, completing planned preventative maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across site machinery.

Sector – Factory Maintenance

• Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
• Multi-skilled maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Hands on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in fast paced industrial factory.

Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
• Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical).
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment.

Desirable Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
• Experience with working on PLC’s, ideally being able to fault find using inputs and outputs
