Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Plaistow, London

Salary

Between £48,000 - £60,000 per annum (including shift allowance) (Depending on shift pattern)

Our Client are hiring Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers to work across a large, well-structured site in Plaistow. With over 40 engineers on-site and access to progression and training opportunities, this is an ideal role for engineers with a strong background in heavy industry, FMCG, or food production.

🚀 Role Overview

• Equipment: Conveyors, Belts, Bearings
• Labellers, Weighers
• Sensors, Relays, Drives
• PLC Fault Finding (not programming)
• PPM & Reactive Maintenance

Shift Options

• Option 1 – 3-Shift Rotation
  • Mornings: 6:00am – 2:00pm
  • Afternoons: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
  • Nights: 10:00pm – 6:00am
• Option 2 – Continental Shifts (Contis)
  • 4 on 4 off – 12 hour shifts, Days & Nights
• Option 3 – Regular Days
• 7am – 3pm – Monday – Friday

What We're Looking For

• NVQ Level 3 or similar in engineering discipline (essential)
• Strong fault-finding & mechanical/electrical skills
• Background in heavy industry, FMCG, or food sectors
• Ability to work independently or within a team
• Adaptable to both refinery and packing areas (training provided for packing)

• Shift allowance/OT: +24.3%
• Total package: £59,000
