Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Location: Worcester

Salary: £40,000-£45,000 (Worcester)

Shifts: Mon-Fri (8.30am–5pm with flexibility)

A leading plastics manufacturer specialising in injection moulding is looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team. At that site in Worcester, they continue to invest in people, processes, and equipment — making this an exciting time to come on board.

The Role

As the site’s go-to Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring minimal downtime across a variety of equipment including injection moulding machines, extrusion lines, vacuum forming cells, chillers, granulators, compressors, and more. You will be the escalation point for technical issues, supporting the business with your electrical bias while also applying mechanical expertise.

What We’re Looking For
  • Experience maintaining plastic injection moulding machinery or similar industrial equipment or heavy industry machinery.
  • Skilled in PLC programming and fault-finding (I/O).
  • Familiarity with mechanical systems and general facilities maintenance.
  • Ideally, 5 years’ post‑qualification experience (or QBE).
