Job description
Overview

Apex Appoint is working on behalf of a well-established and growing food manufacturer based in Malton. They are looking to add 2 Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers to their team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in food or FMCG manufacturing who is confident working in a fast-paced environment and ready to hit the ground running. You will be supporting a busy site with 14 production lines, working on a variety of equipment including fillers, tray sealers and more.

Roles
  • The role is based on a double days shift pattern, rotating weekly between 6am–2pm and 2pm–10pm, totaling 36.25 hours per week.
  • There are two roles available.
  • Also: 4 on 4 off, Days Only.
Salary and Benefits
  • Salary is £45,900 with additional overtime available at 1.5x.
  • Additionally: £50,000 with overtime at 1.5x, plus a strong benefits package including:
  • 3% employer / 5% employee pension.
  • Some of the best in-house training available.
  • The option to buy back up to 5 additional holidays per year through salary sacrifice (tax efficient).
  • Overtime paid in addition to base salary.
