A leading manufacturing company in Coventry is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their team. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery while working a rotating shift schedule. Ideal candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing setting with a strong background in electrical and mechanical maintenance. We are looking for a multi-skilled maintenance engineer of either a mechanical or an electrical bias to join a global brand at our heavy manufacturing site in Coventry.

We are currently undergoing substantial and exciting change and are looking to expand our maintenance team to facilitate this.

Responsibilities
  • Repair and maintain Conveyors, Mixers, Ovens, Kilns, Mills.
  • Electrical ability to control panel fault find and understanding of schematics/drawings.
  • Use Allen Bradley PLCs (advantageous).
  • Work in heavy plant-based environment, physically demanding site.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working on heavy plant-based machinery such as conveyors, ovens, mixers, kilns, balers, motors, gearboxes.
  • Experience fault finding on Allen Bradley PLCs.
  • Flexible to work 4 on 4 off Days/Nights (6-6) schedule.
