A well-established food manufacturer in Newry is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to ensure production line efficiency through hands-on maintenance and fault finding. This role requires experience in a manufacturing maintenance position, preferably in food or FMCG. You'll join a close-knit team, with a focus on ongoing training and job security in a rotating shift environment.
We’re working with a well-established food manufacturer in Newry who are looking to add a Maintenance Engineer to their team. You’ll be joining a business that’s continuously investing in its people, equipment, and processes – and you’ll play a key part in keeping production running smoothly.
You’ll be working a 12-hour shift pattern, rotating days and nights, as part of a close‑knit engineering team. The company offers solid job security, ongoing training, and opportunities to upskill across mechanical and electrical maintenance.
You’ll be responsible for keeping production lines operating efficiently by carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reacting to breakdowns. Expect to get hands‑on with fault finding, repairs, and improvements across a range of food production equipment.
We’d love to speak with you if you’ve got experience in a maintenance role within manufacturing, ideally food or FMCG. You should be confident across mechanical and/or electrical systems, able to work independently, and comfortable with shift work.
