The basics:

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer - Electrical

Industry: Manufacturing - Heavy Engineering/Production environment.

Pay: £23.02 per hour / £50000 per annum + OT available = earnings of £53000 and upwards achievable

Overtime: 1.5 Mon-Fri and double on Sundays

Holidays: 29 days holiday including bank holidays

Overview:

With manufacturing facilities located across the globe you will be working in an automated production environment that will involve projects, installations along with planned and re-active maintenance.

Key responsibilities of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer role:
  • To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
  • Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns.
  • PPM's
The ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
  • Time served apprenticeship
  • Strong Maintenance background working in a medium to heavy engineering environment beneficial - maintaining automated machinery/electrically biased fault finding.
  • Educated in a relevant engineering discipline - City and Guilds/NVQ level 3/HNC/HND etc
  • Experience working with variable speed drives, motors, sensors, relays, pumps etc.
Commutable from:

Lancaster, Carnforth, Morecambe and surrounding areas.
