A well-established recruitment agency is seeking a Qualified Maintenance Engineer to join a leading company in Lisburn. This role involves performing planned maintenance to enhance operational efficiency and ensure safety standards. Candidates should have a trade qualification and at least 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, including knowledge of PLC systems and fabrication skills. Competitive salary of up to £50k and a structured working schedule are offered.

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge and experience of PLC based manufacturing systems.
  • Experience in fabrication and welding.

Job description

Kenect Recruitment N I am on the look out for a Qualified Maintenance Engineer to join a well established, award-winning company on the outskirts of Lisburn.

Salary
  • Up to £50k (DOE - inclusive of OT & on call)
  • Monday to Friday & rota for out of works - approx 2 calls per month
Job Role

To carry out planned, preventative and safe maintenance on all equipment and machinery within the Plant to minimise downtime and increase operational effectiveness while maintaining exceptionally high standards of safety and quality.

What we need from you
  • Recognised trade qualification in plant maintenance and ideally 5 years relevant industry experience
  • Working knowledge and experience of production lines and conveyor systems in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience and maintenance of PLC based manufacturing systems
  • Experience in fabrication and welding
  • Team Player with ability to maintain effective working relationships across all levels
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Flexibility in relation to working skills/ hours to meet business needs
  • Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload
Qualifications / Experience
  • Recognised trade qualification in plant maintenance and 5 years relevant industry experience
  • Experience in fabrication and welding
  • Working knowledge and experience of pneumatic and/or hydraulic systems
  • Working knowledge and experience of oxygen/acetylene cutting equipment
  • Driving Licence
