Shift Maintenance Engineer – Electrically Biased

Location: Blackpool, FY3 7AE

Shifts: Panama/Continental pattern, 24/7 coverage (Days & Nights – 6am-6pm / 6pm-6am)

We’re Fox’s Burton’s Companies (FBC UK) – the home of iconic brands like Maryland, Fox’s, Jammie Dodgers and Rocky. Our biscuits are loved nationwide, and now we’re looking for a talented Shift Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join our team in Blackpool.

This is more than a maintenance role – it’s your chance to be part of a fast‑paced FMCG environment where every day brings new challenges. You’ll keep our production lines running at their best, tackling electrical and mechanical issues head‑on, and ensuring our biscuits meet the highest standards. From planned maintenance to rapid repairs, you’ll be the expert who makes sure downtime is kept to a minimum.

You’ll work with advanced machinery – ovens, conveyors, mixers, weighers, baggers – diagnosing faults, delivering solutions, and driving continuous improvement. You’ll also support changeovers and start‑ups, making sure everything runs smoothly. Your skills will help us stay ahead in a competitive market, and your proactive approach will make a real impact.
