Industrial Electrician

Salary: £21 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm
Location: Dudley
Type: Full-time / Permanent

A market-leading food manufacturer is expanding its Dudley site and is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join the team. This is a great opportunity to join a skilled engineering team focused on keeping production efficient, reliable, and safe in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations across production and site services.
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns and ensure minimal downtime.
  • Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and machinery.
  • Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions to ensure reliability and efficiency.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and electrical upgrades across the plant.
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and food manufacturing regulations.
Your Profile / Qualifications
  • Time-served or qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
  • Experience in a manufacturing or food production environment.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, control panels, and fault finding.
  • Multiskilled background (mechanical knowledge) is an advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance.
  • Strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork.
