Job summary

Orion is partnered with a fast-paced manufacturing business located in Kendal that is recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join the team.

You will maintain production machinery, perform proactive maintenance across the plant, and handle PPMs, breakdowns and repairs. Applicants should have UK work rights and at least 1 year of UK manufacturing experience, with confidence in electrical and mechanical fault finding and the ability to strip and rebuild machinery.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of experience working with industrial machinery.
• Confident with electrical and mechanical fault finding.
• Experience stripping and rebuilding machinery.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of production/manufacturing machinery in a busy plant environment.

Maintenance Engineer

Salary:Up to £42k

Location:Kendal

Shift Pattern:Monday Friday, occasional weekend work, paid at OT rates

Maintenance Engineer Duties:
