Overview

Maintenance Engineer

Salary : Up to £48,000 including shift allowance

Type : Permanent

Shift : 7am to 7pm, rotating 24 / 7 day pattern (Week 1 : Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat, Sun. Week 2 : Wed, Thu)

Responsibilities

• Carry out both reactive and preventative maintenance on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and moulding equipment
• Work on automation systems including PLCs and camera based inspection systems
• Diagnose faults, read engineering drawings and ensure minimal downtime across the 24 / 7 operation (automation is the main area of downtime)
• Support planned maintenance schedules and maintain accurate records
• Work independently on weekend shifts and as part of a wider team on weekdays
• Ensure safe working practices, compliance with HSE procedures and full adherence to site safety standards
