Vehicle Technician Pay, Hours and Benefits

The Vehicle Technician role is commutable from the following areas: Glasgow, Kilmarnock, Dumarton, Renfrew, Paisley

- Ideally previously experienced in the installation of vehicle adaptations, a vehicle mechanic, vehicle technician or engineer and have some knowledge of auto electrics.
- Highly Flexible and used to working to high standards.
- Be able to perform well while under pressure while working to deadlines.
- Must be computer literate to send job reports and emails after each installation.
- Have a desire to contribute to the ongoing success of the Service and Installation Department.
- Valid Driving Licence.
- Provide a professional Installation Service for all products.
- This is completed at workshop facility. Some travel to customer or dealer premises may be required from time to time in line with the needs of the business.
- Deal with customers in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Work to a weekly and daily schedule of work.
- Install products to a high standard and carrying out quality control inspections.
- Conduct product demonstrations for customers after each installation to ensure they know how the products work.
- Carry out relevant product training as required.
- Weekly checks to make sure stock levels are correct and current.
- Must be a team player with the ability to work alone.

Duties of a Reliability Engineer
Working within a team of likeminded professionals, you will be required to support on site maintenance technicians, working with them to resolve issues and make improvements to production processes, that heavily rely on automation.
Requirements of a Reliability Engineer
- You must be qualified Electrically or Mechanically and have proven experience of planning projects within manufacturing or production environments. Alongside having experience of improving plant reliability by critiquing data that relates to OEE, MTBF & MTTR and implementing changes to improve performance.
- Allied to your systems experience you must also have experience with Siemens S7 / TIA Portal Plc, WinCC Flex HMI and ideally Robot applications.
You’ll be part of a stable, well organised maintenance team with experienced, long serving colleagues, supporting and maintaining a broad range of automated plant and equipment.
The role is commutable from Burntwood, Cannock, Rugeley & Tamworth
Hours: Monday to Friday 6am-2pm or 7am-3pm
Salary: £48,000
Location: Heanor, Derbyshire
Responsibilities of a Maintenance Electrician:
- Carry out preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and production equipment
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on production machines, control panels, motors, sensors, PLCs, and other automation systems.
- Support with plant improvements to enhance performance
- installation, commissioning, and integration of new machinery and equipment.
Requirements of a Maintenance Electrician:
- Hold a recognised qualification in engineering/ electrical
- 17th / 18th edition wiring regulations required
- Must have hydraulic and pneumatic experience as well as fault finding on PLC’s
- Understanding of food industry hygiene and safety standards (desirable)

Requirements of a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician (electrical bias preferred)
- Electrical qualifications to City & Guilds or NVQ standard.
- Ideally Completion of a recognised apprenticeship.
- Proven Experience in Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance.
