Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Location: St Asaph
Salary: £40,000 - £48,000

Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts: 6am-3pm / 1pm-10pm (40-hour week)

Early Friday finish (6am-12pm / 12pm-6pm)

A leading plastics manufacturer specialising in injection moulding is looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their St Asaph site. With continued investment in people, processes, and technology, this is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting production at a well-established and growing facility.

The Role

As the site's go-to Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for delivering both planned and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime and keep operations running efficiently. You'll work across a wide range of equipment, including injection moulding machines, extrusion lines, vacuum forming cells, chillers, granulators, compressors, and more. With your electrical expertise and mechanical skills, you'll be the key escalation point for technical issues.

What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience maintaining plastic injection moulding machinery or similar industrial equipment or heavy industry machinery.
  • Skilled in PLC programming and fault-finding (I/O).
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems and willingness to cover light facilities work when needed.
  • Ideally 5 years' post-qualification experience (or QBE).
