Job description

We're working with a leading manufacturing business based in Milton Keynes that's expanding its team and looking for two skilled Maintenance Engineers to join their growing operation.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a well-established company that invests in its people and encourages continuous improvement. You'll be part of a friendly, professional engineering team responsible for maintaining production machinery, reducing downtime, and ensuring everything runs smoothly.

What you'll be doing:
  • Responding to machine breakdowns and diagnosing faults quickly and effectively.
  • Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and ensuring timely repairs.
  • Supporting the implementation of continuous improvement projects.
  • Maintaining accurate maintenance data using the CMMS system.
  • Working closely with production teams to meet daily operational targets.
  • Following safe working practices at all times.
  • Providing an effective handover between shifts and ensuring clear communication.
What we're looking for:
  • Previous experience in a maintenance role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
  • PLC knowledge (preferred but not essential).
  • Hands‑on experience with machinery such as rolling machines, auto welders, paint plants, or press tooling.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement practices.
  • Ability to analyse data and work proactively to prevent issues.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Confident PC user with CMMS or similar system experience.

Hours: Full-time, rotating shifts (6am‑2pm / 2pm‑10pm)

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
