Maintenance Engineer

£45,000
Days, Mon – Fri, 07:00 – 16:00
Overtime at 1.5x

We’re a world class, prestigious manufacturer who’ve achieved astronomical growth over the last 20 years, we’ve invested heavily in this site with lots of planned investment for the coming years. This site is an old, historic site and we’re upgrading it and building new plant onto it.

We operate in many different markets, diversifying and spreading any risks in any upcoming economic turbulence. You’ll be working under a Maintenance Manager who was newly appointed earlier this year, their investment specifically in Engineering and Maintenance is key to our sustainable, profitable future.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • This role is heavily mechanical, lots of work with Forklifts, working at height
  • Working on Plant Machinery, JCBs, Mixer trucks, hydraulics and pneumatics
  • The role will evolve and for involve automation, training is provided
  • Occasional facilities work
Experience and Qualifications
  • Level 3 qualification preferred
  • Time served with suitable skill set (if no quals)
  • Comfortable working at heights
