A leading medical device manufacturer in the East Midlands is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of machinery and facilities. This role is essential in supporting the manufacture of life-saving medical devices, requiring a Level 3 qualification in Maintenance Engineering and experience in electrical maintenance. This role plays a vital part in protecting lives by supporting the manufacture and supply of life‑saving medical devices. It ensures the efficient operation and maintenance of plant machinery and facilities to meet daily production and business needs.
Key responsibilities include responding to machine breakdowns, performing changeovers and setups, and addressing facilities‑related issues.
The role also drives productivity and reliability through continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and innovation, contributing directly to the company’s operational excellence, revenue goals, and the company’s overarching purpose of “Improving Lives Through Healthcare Innovation.”
This role will operate on two shifts – 06:00 – 14:06 and 14:00 – 22:06 Monday to Friday.
