Job summary

A well-established engineering firm in Daventry seeks an experienced Maintenance Engineer. You will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance of industrial machinery, including mixers and conveyors. A minimum of 5 years in maintenance is required, along with a Level 3 qualification. Competitive salary and benefits, including a site-wide bonus scheme, are offered.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an industrial maintenance engineer.
  • Ideally time-served apprenticeship or recognized qualification in maintenance.
  • Prior experience in the food industry is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on industrial machinery.
  • Work on mixers, ovens, depositors, conveyors, cutting machines.
  • Maintain barcode scanners, palletizers, sensors and other equipment.
  • Operate within a small team of engineers to keep production running efficiently.

Overview

Maintenance Engineer – Daventry, Northamptonshire

Salary: £48,000
Contract: Permanent

Location: Daventry, Northamptonshire

Shifts: Earlies, Mon – Fri (5:30am – 2:00pm) – 40 hours/week

Experience & Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an industrial maintenance engineer (60:40 bias preferred)
  • Ideally time-served apprenticeship or recognised Level 3 qualification in a maintenance discipline
  • Prior experience in the food industry is beneficial
