Maintenance Engineer- Continental Shift - Commercial building - Battersea - Temp to perm - up to £21p/h

My client is looking for a Shift Maintenance Engineer to be based in a commercial building In Battersea. The successful candidates will be Mechanically / Electrically biased (C&G / NVQ 2 or 3). Working with the maintenance team on site, He or she will be required to carry out General building maintenance in a commercial environment. In return, the company are offering an hourly rate of £20-21p/h.

Hours of work & Salary
  • £20-21p/h (paid via umbrella)
  • Continental Shift - 07:00 am-19:00 pm / 19:00 pm -07:00 am
  • Overtime Available
  • Salary £38k - £40k
Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
  • Chillers - Re-set
  • Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
  • Monitor mechanical plant
  • Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
  • Pumps, motors
  • Water Treatment
  • BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
Requirements
  • Experience working in a large commercial building, willing to learn
  • Maintenance experience not necessary as training can be provided.
  • DBS required
  • Mechanical or Electrical qualifications (NVQ 2 or 3 / C&G)
  • You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates (Essential)
  • Prior experience working in commercial building maintenance advantageous
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent customer skills
  • Must be able to get to site for 07:00am start
  • Availability for a teams call prior to starting
