Overview

Maintenance Engineer - Nights Only

Salary: £61,000

Location: Urmston

A globally renowned manufacturer of products used in a wide variety of industries has an opening for a Maintenance Engineer within a highly automated, state-of-the-art facility in Urmston. The company provides bespoke, in-house training to all staff and heavily invests in external training and courses, making it one of the best places to work in the area. They supply to blue chip organisations in the UK and abroad and pride themselves on products that are some of the best sellers globally.

The role is part of the Maintenance Engineer Nights team, responsible for electromechanical equipment and following all PPM schedules. Please only apply if you are happy with night shift work; this role is nightsonly.

The site recently expanded due to a cash injection, creating more progression opportunities from a Maintenance Engineer into supervisory roles and project work within a wider structure.

Responsibilities
  • Look after all electromechanical equipment and systems.
  • Follow all Preventative Planned Maintenance (PPM) schedules.
  • Operate on a night-shift basis.
  • Collaborate on projects and progression opportunities as part of an expanded team structure.
Qualifications
  • Electrical bias. Apprentice trained.
  • Minimum Level 3 Electrical Qualification.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
