A leading UK manufacturer in Cannock is expanding its maintenance team and seeking a multi-skilled engineer for high-output production machinery. The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent and experience in electrical fault-finding. Competitive salary plus bonus, with opportunities for progression and training in PLC systems. We’re working with a leading UK manufacturer operating across over 30 sites nationwide. The Cannock facility is a key site within the group — producing high-quality building materials using state‑of‑the‑art automated systems. With ongoing investment and multiple new positions signed off, they’re expanding their maintenance team.
Location: Cannock (WS) – modern, well‑equipped manufacturing facility
Salary: £52,000 base + 5% bonus (paid monthly)
⚙️ Earnings: OTE around £60,000 with regular overtime available
Shifts: 4 on / 4 off – rotating days & nights (12‑hour shifts)
Overtime: 1.5x weekdays | 2x Sundays (engineers regularly earning £6K+ extra)
Holidays: 23 days equivalent
Pension: Generous 10% company contribution
Training: Siemens PLC & inverter training provided (official manufacturer‑led courses)
Progression: Opportunities to develop into PLC Technician, Team Leader, or Process Improvement roles across the wider UK group
