Job summary

TipTopJob in the United Kingdom is seeking an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturer in Broomfleet, East Yorkshire. You will fault-find, perform planned maintenance and keep production equipment operating at peak performance.

This role offers a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, a salary between £52,000 and £54,000 DOE, and the chance to work with an experienced engineering team focused on safety, reliability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

The Role

Were looking for an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturer. Youll be responsible for fault:finding, planned maintenance, and keeping production equipment operating at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair electrical and electro:mechanical plant equipment.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities.
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs using a range of testing equipment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance.
• Minimise downtime and ensure production targets are achieved.
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality and housekeeping.

About You

• Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering as a minimum.
• Experience within a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
• Strong fault:finding and diagnostic skills.
• Knowledge of electrical motors, drives and pneumatics.
• Committed to health and safety best practice.
• Proactive, reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• You may currently be working as a Multi:Skilled Maintenance Engineer, Shift Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Automation Engineer, Maintenance Technician, or Electrical Maintenance Technician.
