Job summary

ATA Recruitment is seeking a Maintenance Engineer in Sittingbourne to join a leading UK manufacturer. The role covers fault finding on electrical components, repairing mechanical parts, and handling equipment such as conveyors, extruders and robots. Shifts are 4 on 4 off and DAYS only.

You will join a large maintenance team in a company that supports professional development, with extensive on-site training including Siemens PLC and robotics certifications and a clear progression path.

Qualifications

• A recognised engineering qualification.
• Strong experience within a factory environment.
• Ability to work as part of a team or individually.
• A sound understanding of key mechanical and electrical functions.

Responsibilities

• Fault finding on electrical components such as sensors, relays, contactors, inverters etc.
• Repairing mechanical components such as bearings, sprockets, shafts, rollers etc.
• Working on conveyors, extruders, wire cutters, kilns, packaging machines, robots etc.
• Promote and encourage a culture of Continuous Improvement
