Maintenance Engineer - £50,000-£53,000 + Bonus (OTE £55k-£60k)

Location: Nottingham (NG5). 4 on 4 off – Days & Nights, 12 Hour Shifts. 15% Matched Pension + Overtime (1.5x, Double on Sundays) + 23 Shifts Holiday.

What you'll be doing

As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll be working across a wide range of large-scale heavy plant and equipment.

Key responsibilities
  • Fault finding on PLC-operated machinery
  • Carrying out maintenance on hoppers, mixers, conveyors, kilns, silos, and large-scale slicing/mixing equipment.
  • Following PPM schedules via a tablet-based system.
  • Supporting installations of new plant and upgrades to existing equipment.
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety and contributing to continuous improvement.
What the client is looking for
  • A recognised engineering qualification equivalent to a Level 3 or above (NVQ, City and Guilds, BTEC, ONC, HNC etc.).
  • Electrical competency in industrial settings or transferable and relevant experience.
  • A flexible attitude, with willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Ability to work well within a mixed and supportive engineering team.
  • The right Maintenance Engineer will be someone who values training and development, with opportunities available to upskill further on site.
