Job summary

WAGSTAFF INC in Normanton, West Yorkshire, is looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join its established engineering team at a family-friendly, Monday-to-Friday site.

You will maintain production equipment, perform preventative and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and support projects, with an electrically biased, mechanical and electrical skillset; the role includes private healthcare and a company pension.

Qualifications

• Qualified maintenance engineer with C&G/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Multi-skilled mechanical and electrical experience, ideally electrically biased.
• Apprenticeship trained with hands-on problem solving.
• Food manufacturing experience advantageous, but engineers from other sectors are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production equipment to maximise uptime and output.
• Complete preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.
• Monitor equipment performance and take corrective action.
• Support engineering projects, installations and equipment modifications.
• Work closely with production to minimise downtime.

An independent food manufacturer located on the West side of Grantham, is looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their established engineering team. Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• No Nights & No Weekends
• The role operates on a straightforward Monday to Friday double-day shift pattern, offering an excellent work-life balance:
• Week 1: 6am - 2pm
• Week 2: 2pm - 10pm
• No night shifts or weekend working

This could be ideal for Maintenance Engineers currently working rotating shifts, nights or weekends who are looking for a better work-life balance.
