Job description

Maintenance Electrician - Static (Wellingborough)

£40,640 per annum including call out

Permanent position for an electrically biased maintenance engineer, to work as part of a 2‑man team on a static site in Wellingborough. This role is working days Monday‑Friday, 40 hours per week. There is a requirement to be on call once every 2 weeks in this role, however actual call outs are very limited.

Key Responsibilities

• PPM tasks – emergency lighting / Tap Temps / Fire Door and Bay Door inspections etc.
• Minor reactive works
• Contractor management
• Minor fabric works – for example basic plumbing (leaks, taps, toilets etc.)

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be qualified electrically (City and Guilds or NVQ), with previous experience in a maintenance role, and happy to turn their hand to all aspects of facility maintenance.

Compensation & Benefits

On offer is a permanent position paying a basic salary of £37,000 per annum, plus £140 per week call‑out fee (1 week in 2), and 25 days annual leave plus stats.
