Job Details

• Position: Maintenance Electrician
• Type: Permanent
• Location: Trafford Park
• Salary: £40,000
• Working hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week

We are recruiting for a maintenance electrician to join a dedicated maintenance and engineering team within a facility in the Trafford Park area of Manchester.

Responsibilities

• Maintain PPM and reactive maintenance within the facility and estate
• Complete compliance paperwork
• Oversee sub-contractors on site
• Provide hands‑on and supervisory duties to:
  • Lighting and emergency lighting
  • Compliance checks
• Ensure all tasks are risk assessed through site specific or dynamic risk assessments
• Monitor the Building Management System (BMS)
• Continuously review the systems and identify areas for improvement and energy reduction
• Diagnose faults effectively and make good whenever possible
• Mechanical maintenance, HVAC and fabric where needed
• Electrical small works
• Lifecycle repairs

Requirements

• Qualified Electrician (Level 3 or Part 1 & 2)
• Experience of PPM and reactive maintenance works
• Multiskilled and able to complete general mechanical PPMs
• Experience of RAMS, permits etc.
• Plant room experience
• 18th edition
• Client facing
