Job summary

The University Of Wolverhampton Estates Management is seeking suitably qualified electricians to support the university estate in Wolverhampton. You will have completed a registered apprenticeship or equivalent and hold an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation and BS7671 training.

Computer literacy and first aid are desirable, with on-call duties and travel across the West Midlands required. Working under the Technical Supervisor, you will perform fault finding, repairs and alterations to

Qualifications

• Must have completed an apprenticeship or equivalent in electrical installation.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or approved equivalent is required.
• Experience in industrial/commercial environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform fault finding, repairs and alterations to building services across University estates.
• Demonstrate cross-trade flexibility after appropriate training.
• Hold an Inspection and Testing qualification is desirable.
• Participate in an on-call rota.
• Travel across the University estate and surrounding West Midlands.
