Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Support other technicians with major or minor maintenance work.
  • Complete PPM's and reactive maintenance schedules accurately.
  • Prioritize and complete minor maintenance within agreed timescales.
  • Ensure tools and equipment for maintenance are available and serviceable.
  • Attend other sites to carry out work when required.
  • Maintain standards of quality in collaboration with colleagues.
  • Represent the company professionally and maintain good relationships.
  • Complete tasks in accordance with specific KPIs.
  • Accurately monitor and update the Mercury system for live job updates.
Job description
Overview

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join one of the country's leading Facilities Management companies working across Woking and surrounding areas such as Aldershot, Oxted, Reigate, and Caterham.

Responsibilities
  • Support other technicians with any major or minor maintenance work.
  • Complete all necessary PPM’s and reactive maintenance schedules within agreed timescales and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
  • Prioritise and complete minor maintenance and repair work to agreed timescales.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment necessary for minor maintenance and repairs are always available and serviceable.
  • Attend other sites within the cluster to carry out work when required.
  • Work with company and client colleagues to ensure laid‑down standards of quality are always maintained.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner at all times and develop a good working relationship with the client and colleagues.
  • Carry out all tasks in accordance with specific KPI’s.
  • Monitor and update the Mercury system accurately ensuring live job updates from you and your team at all times.
Qualifications
  • NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in electrical installations / parts 1 & 2 or recognised apprenticeship equivalent.
  • 18th Edition (cable installation restriction) or higher.
Salary & Package

Salary £42,421 (Basic £38,386 + Standby payment £2,535 + £1,500 competency payment added to salary after completion of catering training). Travel time paid after first 30m at overtime rate.

Overtime: Call Out – 1 in 4 weeks.
