The Organisation

We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join a leading education provider, ensuring all electrical systems, buildings, and equipment are safe, compliant, and running efficiently. You'll carry out both planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites, supporting the estates team with inspections, repairs, installations, and energy efficiency upgrades to keep facilities operating smoothly and to the highest standards.

Role Purpose

Lead the organisation's people development and culture strategy, ensuring staff are engaged, supported, and equipped to deliver excellent performance. Drive organisational change and improvement initiatives that strengthen leadership capability, inclusion, and employee experience. Build a modern, responsive L&OD function that aligns workforce development with long-term strategic goals.

Role Responsibilities
  • Perform electrical maintenance and statutory checks (PAT, fixed wire, etc.)
  • Complete repairs, installations, and upgrades as needed
  • Log and close jobs accurately on the helpdesk system
  • Keep records of all inspections and works carried out
  • Follow all health & safety procedures and supervise contractors when required
  • Support projects such as LED replacements and energy-saving improvements
Essential Requirements
  • 17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Proven experience in building/electrical maintenance
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
  • Full rights to work in the UK
