Overview

Maintenance Electrician - Static Site — Solihull — £38,500 per annum plus plenty of progression and development opportunities

Fantastic opportunity for an electrically trained engineer, that wants to join an existing team working in a high profile site in Solihull. This company has a proven track record of internal promotion, and investing in training and development on behalf of their employees. This role is mainly working Monday - Friday, with the requirement to work 1 weekend a month (2 days off in the week), offering ample opportunities for career progression and training, and the chance to join a well established and friendly team.

Responsibilities
  • Maintenance of lighting and emergency lighting systems.
  • Testing of emergency lights, fire alarms, and sprinkler systems.
  • General building maintenance such as basic plumbing tasks.
  • First line support on HVAC maintenance such as filter changes for air conditioning units.
  • Assisting the other engineers on site with any tasks as reasonably required.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Qualified electrician (City and Guilds or NVQ with 18th edition).
  • Good attitude and a desire to work hard and progress, as well as being hungry to achieve further qualifications and training.
