Qualifications

  • Experienced as an LV Authorised Person (AP).
  • Strong background in Facilities Management (FM).
  • Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
  • A full, clean UK driving licence is required.

  • Diagnose and rectify faults efficiently.
  • Ensure all work adheres to safe systems of work (SSoW).
  • Carry out minor installations as needed.

Job Title: Mobile Electrical Technician

Location: Liverpool

Salary: Up to £37,000 per annum

Contract: Full-time, Permanent (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday)

About the Role

On of our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintnenance Electrician to join our team, supporting a mobile role.

As a proven LV Authorised Technician, you will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of all electrical systems. This role requires a proactive and highly organised individual with a strong background in Facilities Management, capable of managing their own workload and ensuring all work adheres to the highest safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance & Repairs: Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on electrical systems.

  • Fault Finding: Diagnose and rectify faults efficiently, delivering a high standard of customer service.

  • Safety & Compliance: Act as an LV Authorised Person, issuing permits and ensuring all work adheres to safe systems of work (SSoW).

  • Installations: Carry out minor electrical installations as required.

  • Monitoring: Proactively monitor plant and equipment to ensure efficiency and prevent downtime.

  • Administration: Maintain accurate records and documentation using a CAFM system.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • NVQ Level 3 Technical Certificate (or equivalent)

  • City & Guilds 18th Edition qualification

  • NET AM2 certificate

  • LV Authorised Person (AP) experience

  • Strong experience working within a Facilities Management (FM) environment

  • Prior supervisory experience

  • IT Literacy: Proficient in using a CAFM system and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

  • Personal Attributes: Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working to tight deadlines

  • A full, clean UK driving licence
