Position: Maintenance Electrician

Type: Permanent

Location: Chester

Salary: £42,000 PA plus on call and OT - Monday to Friday 40 hours per week

Excellent opportunity for a building services sector Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a busy and successful maintenance team to work on a large prestigious facility in the Chester area.

We are looking for driven, professional and multiskilled engineers to assist in the Electrical / HVAC maintenance within the estates. The role is a permanent position paying up to 42k. On call 1 in 4 (£125 plus call out min 4 hours)

Mon-Fri 6am-3pm & 2pm-11pm

Maintenance Electrician Description

Within the maintenance electrician role you will be carrying out all planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks across the site. The role will require a flexible approach as you will often be called to carryout or support works that are outside your core discipline.

Duties & Responsibilities

• To undertake planned and reactive electrical maintenance tasks on Electrical plant, controls, lighting etc. plus over lap with mechanical plant such asAHU's, fan coils, pumps, venting, etc.
• To complete PPM's in line with SLA and KPI agreements
• To provide H&S and compliance engineering on each facility
• To undertake compliance checks
• To update the CAFM system and log job status etc.
• To respond to Helpdesk requests, providing a professional and timely service
• To support the other members of the maintenance team with ad-hoc tasks across all disciplines

Skills & Background Required

• Recognised professional qualification e.g. City & Guilds Electrical L3 with 18th edition
• Maintenance background in commercial sized buildings
• Must be presentable and reliable
• Be capable of passing a security check
• Marine Engineers welcome to apply
• Willing to complete work across other areas of maintenance
• Able to build good relationships at all levels, internally and externally
• Strong planning and workload management skills with the ability to manage short term and long term activities to agreed deadlines
