Qualifications

• Electrical installation, testing, and maintenance across site systems.
• Preventative & reactive maintenance on CNC machines.
• Conducting EICRs, safety inspections, and risk assessments.

Salary: From £38,000 per annum

Hours: 7:00-4:00 Mon-Thurs 7:00-12:00 Fri (39h/week - Day Shift)

Location: Tiverton

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary : Up to £38K

We are working with a leading manufacturer in Tiverton with an exciting opening for a skilled Electrician to join their engineering team. This is a day-shift, permanent position ideal for someone experienced in maintaining CNC and industrial systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Electrical installation, testing, and maintenance across site systems
• Preventative & reactive maintenance on CNC machines (3-, 4- & 5-axis)
• Diagnostics & repairs on Fanuc, Siemens, Hurco, and Omron PLCs
• Conducting EICRs, safety inspections, and risk assessments
• Supporting continuous improvement projects and managing contractors

What We’re Looking For

• Industrial or manufacturing background (CNC machinery experience preferred)
• Confident working with PLC control systems (Fanuc, Siemens, etc.)
• Health & safety conscious, proactive, and keen to develop
