A leading healthcare provider in Bournemouth is seeking a Maintenance Craftsman (Mechanical) to support their Estates Department. In this role, you will be responsible for maintenance, repair, and installation of essential building and engineering services. The position offers a salary ranging from £31,049 to £37,796, complemented by a generous NHS pension scheme and extensive annual leave. Candidates should have relevant qualifications and need to reside within a half-hour travel time for on-call duties.
Maintenance Craftsman (Mechanical) – Estates Department, University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust.
Estates provides comprehensive maintenance, repair and installation services for buildings, grounds, engineering services and associated equipment throughout the Trust.
Salary: £31,049 – £37,796 per annum (Band 5) plus local RRP (£3,277 pa) and approx £1,000 on‑call retainer. Shift‑working position with enhancements payable in line with Agenda for Change, estimated to add around £5,000–£6,000 per annum to total earnings.
Base Location: Royal Bournemouth Hospital.
