Maintenance Assistant
Location: Northampton (Grange Park)
Pay Rates: £14.22 - £15.22 per hour (depending on shift)

Shifts Available:

  • Shift 1: Sunday - Wednesday, 12:00 - 22:00
    Sunday: £15.22 per hour
    Monday - Wednesday: £14.22 per hour
  • Shift 2: Wednesday - Saturday, 12:00 - 22:00
    Wednesday - Friday: £14.22 per hour
    Saturday: £15.22 per hour

We are currently recruiting for Maintenance Assistants to join our team in Northampton (Grange Park). These are temporary roles with the potential to become permanent for the right candidates.

We are looking for reliable individuals with strong practical or transferable mechanical skills. Previous maintenance experience is beneficial but full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities as Maintenance Assistant:
  • Conduct Preventative Maintenance tasks as per schedule.
  • Respond promptly to urgent minor repair requests that affect operations.
  • Operate hand and power tools for various maintenance tasks.
  • Track supplies and notify supervisors when stock is low.
  • Assist other maintenance staff and liaise with contractors to ensure timely project completion.
  • Follow health and safety regulations and report unsafe conditions.
  • Prepare reports on maintenance activities and repairs.
  • Painting, decorating and basic handyman tasks (during low work volumes).
  • Yard hygiene duties (during low work volumes).
Requirements as Maintenance Assistant:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
