Job summary

Village Hotels is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our team. The role involves diagnosing and fixing issues across guest rooms, Leisure Club facilities, and public areas, while maintaining high standards and guest comfort.

You’ll be a proactive problem-solver who enjoys hands-on work, collaborates with colleagues, and can adapt to a fast-paced hospitality environment. Training and development are provided to help you grow with the Village.

The Role Outline: Your Shift at a Glance

As our Maintenance Assistant, you are the ultimate problem solver for the entire property. One hour you might be fixing a critical issue in a guest room so they can have a faultless stay, and the next you will be ensuring our Leisure Club equipment is operating seamlessly. This is one of the most varied, fast paced roles in the hotel, keeping our public areas looking as fresh as they did on day one.

• The Leisure Club: Keeping the energy high. You will run routine checks and fix issues across the gym and pool areas so our facilities are always operating flawlessly for our members.

• The Public Areas: Protecting the brand. You will take pride in the details, ensuring our bustling lobbies, Pub & Grill, and meeting spaces look immaculate and function perfectly.

• The Team Support: Working hand in hand with every other department. You will be a supportive team player who thrives under pressure, helping the wider hotel team deliver a brilliant service.
