Jonathan Lee Group is recruiting an experienced Maintenance & Facilities Supervisor for a leading manufacturing site in Telford. You will manage site facilities maintenance, services and engineering projects in a fast paced environment.

Reporting to the Maintenance & Facilities Manager, you will lead a team of engineers and fabricators, oversee contractor management, safety, budgeting and KPI delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in a safety‑critical manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proven facilities maintenance across a complex site.
• Strong project management with CAPEX budgeting and contractor control.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and building services installations.
• Experience leading engineers, fabricators or apprentices.

• Promote a strong safety culture, manage contractor compliance, oversee risk assessments and audits.
• Oversee facilities maintenance across site infrastructure and building services; reduce backlogs.
• Lead facilities and service installation projects from scope to delivery with cost justification.
• Supervise and develop a skilled team, manage performance and training needs.
• Control departmental expenditure and drive cost‑effective solutions.
• Develop KPIs, 5S standards and improve maintenance reliability.

We are recruiting for an experienced Maintenance & Facilities Supervisor to join a leading manufacturing business at its Telford site.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on Maintenance & Facilities Supervisor to oversee site facilities maintenance, services, engineering projects and contractor management within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Reporting to the Maintenance & Facilities Manager, you will lead a team of Project & Facilities Engineers and Fabricators, ensuring all activities are delivered safely, efficiently and within budget.

Maintenance & Facilities Supervisor

Location: Telford, Shropshire

Salary: £49,800

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Days)

Key Responsibilities

• Promote a strong safety culture, manage contractor compliance, oversee risk assessments and ensure adherence to statutory requirements and audits.
• Facilities Maintenance and oversee planned and reactive maintenance across site infrastructure, building services and utilities, ensuring schedules are maintained and backlogs reduced.
• Project Management and lead facilities and service installation projects from initial scope and cost justification through to planning, contractor management and delivery.
• Supervise, coach and develop a skilled team, managing performance, attendance, training and resource requirements.
• Control departmental expenditure, manage project budgets and drive cost‑effective solutions.
• Develop and monitor KPIs, promote 5S standards and improve maintenance performance and reliability.
• Collaborate across departments to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.

Experience and skills:

• Experience working in a safety‑critical manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proven experience managing facilities maintenance across a complex site.
• Strong project management experience, Budget Management, including CAPEX, quotations, project planning and contractor control.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and building services installations.
• Experience leading and developing skilled engineers, fabricators or apprentices.

You will have current or recent experience working as site services engineer, site services supervisor, facilities engineering supervisor, manufacturing facility manager, building services engineer supervisor, building services engineer supervisor.
