Job Description

My client is looking for a talented Magento Developer with strong backend experience to join their dynamic dev team. If you enjoy building custom ecommerce solutions, integrating complex systems, and collaborating in a supportive tech environment, this could be the role for you. This role is predominantly remote, although the team meets onsite once a month near Farringdon. Attendance is flexible.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for delivering tailored features and functionality across various ecommerce projects. Key duties include:

1. Developing and maintaining bespoke Magento functionality.
2. Ensuring new code aligns with Magento framework and performs well.
3. Reviewing code, pull requests, and supporting peer development.
4. Managing tasks across multiple client projects and support channels.
5. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
6. Integrating APIs for backend services like ERP and warehouse systems.
7. Supporting team leads with workflow improvements and mentoring junior developers.
8. Contributing to technical documentation and exploring new tools and approaches.
9. Staying updated on ecommerce trends and technologies.

The Ideal Candidate

• 4+ years of Magento development experience
• Proficient in PHP
