Job summary

DRW in London is seeking a Macro Analyst to join the research team. You will provide real-time macro analysis, work with traders to structure trades, and develop sector themes across assets.

The role offers exposure to a multi-asset environment and collaboration with software developers to build data tools. You will translate market drivers into forward-looking views, support daily updates, and help build scalable processes for cross-asset coverage.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of global macro themes.
• Extreme attention to detail and accuracy.
• Coding capability in R, Python, Matlab or similar.
• Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative information from disparate sources.
• Experience working with large data sets and understanding of options pricing.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time analysis on relevant macro stories and headlines.
• Work with traders to structure trades around the research output.
• Develop sector-wide themes and macroeconomic theses.
• Maintain dividend and earnings calendars.
• Create implied probability distributions around important events.
• Collaborate with software engineers to develop automated data tools.
