Job summary

PE Global is currently recruiting for 2 Machinists for a leading multinational oilfield services company, based in Barrow in Furness. The role is on a 6-month contract with rates of £17–£20 per hour, depending on experience.

You will participate in pre-job and toolbox meetings, plan and execute maintenance activities, operate equipment, maintain and report issues, and contribute to continuous improvement using the Manufacturing System tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in technology or manufacturing centers.
• Exposure to production workflow environments.
• Hands-on machining experience and precision work.

Responsibilities

• Participate in pre-job and toolbox meetings with crew members.
• Plan and execute maintenance activities for a designated location.
• Maintain equipment according to procedures, reporting problems or deviations.
• Operate equipment according to procedures, competency levels and job requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve the service delivery process.
• Participate in failure investigations when relevant.
• Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.

PE Global is currently recruiting for 2 Machinist for a leading multi-national oilfield services company and a leader in digital solutions for subsurface and surface engineering, based in Barrow in Furness.

Rate: £17–£20 per hour, depending on experience
Contract Length: 6 months (with potential extension)

Duties of the role/Responsibilities

• Participate in pre-job and Toolbox meetings with crew members.
• Plan and execute maintenance activities for a designated location (outside of Technology Lifecycle Management activities).
• Maintain equipment according to procedures, reporting problems or deviations.
• Operate equipment according to procedures, competency levels and job requirement.
• Identify opportunities to improve the service delivery process.
• Participate in failure investigations when relevant.
• Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.
