About the Role

As our Machining Supervisor, you’ll be the driving force behind a high-performing team of Machinists. You’ll oversee daily workshop operations across borers, lathes, drills, and mills — ensuring projects are delivered on time, safely, and to the highest standards of quality. Beyond that, you’ll play a key role in mentoring your team, building capability, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance and advice to Machinists.
  • Plan, allocate, and oversee daily machining activities.
  • Manage materials, stock, and workflow to meet project deadlines.
  • Build and support a strong leading hand structure within the team.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to position RCR as an industry leader.
  • Deliver training and upskilling programs to develop employee capability.

Skills & Experience

  • Comprehensive knowledge of machining tooling and systems.
  • Heidenhain and Fanuc control experience.
  • Dogman / Rigger Basic (desirable).
  • Solid understanding of quality and safety management systems.
