Job summary

Kober LTD is seeking a Machine Setter to join our onsite engineering team at the Cleckheaton site. The role involves 4 on 4 off rotating shifts from 6am to 6pm, with responsibilities including setting up machinery, verifying programmes, blade changes and routine lubrication.

The candidate will work in a food machinery environment, ensuring safety and teamwork. Experience with food machinery and a proactive safety mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with food machinery and safety.
• Able to work in a team and individually as needed.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on problem solving.
• Committed to safety and procedure compliance.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate test machinery as per production requests/plan.

About The Role

We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Machine Setter to become a vital part of our onsite Engineering Team at our site in Cleckheaton. Position Details

Schedule: 4 on 4 off - 6am to 6pm (Rotating Shifts)

Location: Kober LTD - Site Based Role

Contract Type: Permanent

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Set-up and operate test machinery as per production requests/plan.
• Ensure correct programmes are in the machine prior to start-up
• Carry out blade changes.
• Carry out lubrication of machinery as per schedule.
• Able to work alone or as part of a team.
• Highlight and H&S issues and near misses, all procedures are followed and documentation completed accurately.
