Location: Tobermore Concrete Products Ltd, 2 Lisnamuck Road, Tobermore

Tobermore is expanding, this is your opportunity to secure great pay while being part of a growing company.

What's in it for you?

  • Rates of pay can increase with skills and competencies
  • 30% shift premium paid for night shift and Saturday hours
  • Annual bonus of up to £1,000 paid out twice per year
  • £500 joining bonus payable after successful probation
Shift Details
Day shift

You will normally be offered one of the following shift patterns (depending on the plant you are allocated to):

  • 47.5 hours per week, 5 days (Monday - Friday, 7am - 5.30pm)
  • 44 hours per week, 4 days (between Monday - Friday, 6am - 6pm)

Please note - Saturday hours may be required on a rota basis (depending on Production requirements).

Night shift
  • 44 hours per week, 4 nights (Any 4 nights Sunday - Friday, 6pm - 6am)
  • Please note - working hours on Sunday nights are 10pm - 6am.

Induction Week: Your first week will be on days Mon - Fri 9am to 5pm approx.

This role will provide you with exciting challenges and opportunities within Manufacturing. You will provide excellent support to the Production Team.

What You'll Be Doing

Machine Operators will be required to set up machines using computer panels to produce world class paving products in a safe and efficient manner. Within the role you will be required to understand mix designs and run times, successfully carrying out mould changes and also quality inspections. You will receive on the job training. You can expect to get real life, hands on experience and learn as you go. You will be supported and mentored through work participation and receive an individual training and Induction programme.

About The Role

All roles will include the following key responsibilities:

  • Set up machine to manufacture world class products in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Understand mix designs and run times.
  • Be able to carry out mould changes successfully and efficiently.
  • Carry out quality checks and record data.
  • Identify and report maintenance issues.
  • Problem solving in terms of maintenance / quality issues.
  • Setup the machine to make the products as per the production plan.
  • Setup the machine by using computer panels to get the right product mix and design.

  • Previous work-related qualifications within a Manufacturing setting
  • Working experience of Machinery / Manufacturing Industry
  • Working experience in Production / Industrial setting
  • Experience of Use of Machinery Controls
  • Forklift Experience
  • Production related administration experience such as check sheets/ computer or iPad
  • Full and clean driving licence
