Overview

SG Personnel are working with a client based in Newcastle, who are looking to recruit a Machine Operator on a temporary to permanent basis. This will initially be a dayshift only basis, but there is a possibility that this could change to a rotating day/nights pattern at some point in the future.

Duties

Duties will include handling steel sheets and feeding this into large press machinery. Over time, training will be provided for the full operation of the machine.

Requirements

Candidates must have manufacturing experience and be able to show recent and regular work history.

Hours & Pay

Working hours are Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 5.15pm.

Starting rate of pay is £12.21 per hour, however this rises to £13.15 per hour. Nightshift rate is £16.24 per hour if worked.
